The exotic forest, which now covers almost 60 hectares, has existed since 1872, so many of the trees are already over 150 years old, some of which are more than 60 meters tall—you guessed it—sequoias. There are currently over 160 different tree and shrub species to admire, with new species being added every year! The cultivated areas of the exotic forest are assigned to 18 forest regions around the world, and in Weinheim, there are actually trees from these 18 regions! I find that absolutely astonishing!
