Bad Bocklet is the smallest of the Bavarian state baths in the Rhön. This does not affect the quality in any way. The most iron-rich spring in Germany bubbles up in the Kurpark. Calm and tranquility reign. Baden-Baden's sophistication is far away and even Bad Kissingen seems pompous here. The manageable but finely groomed spa facilities merge into a lush meadow landscape on the Franconian Saale that belongs to the spa. Once this has been crossed, it goes seamlessly into the nature of the Rhön. Conclusion: worth seeing and a good starting point for longer hiking tours.
