The bridge, rebuilt in 1832, still stands today. A toll was payable to cross the bridge, for which a toll house was built in 1786. The bridge suffered damage from natural disasters such as a tornado in 1954 and the 2002 flood disaster, which was repaired. Most recently, in 2007, the wooden shingle roof was re-covered and the roadway, including both sidewalks, was renewed. In terms of construction, the wooden bridge is comparable to the Hennersdorf wooden bridge.

Nice bridge, nice view

The river rises in the Eastern Ore Mountains in the Czech Republic northwest of the village of Nové Město (New Town) and initially runs in a westerly direction. The source is only around one kilometer away from the source of the Wilde Weißeritz and the Freiberger Mulde. There is a small wooden hut on the bridge. It is called "To the stone bridge veteran". In 2022, this will be managed on Ascension Day and Pentecost (Sunday and Monday).

Flöha offers some beautiful views of the rivers, whether from the bike paths of the water or the various bridges or the confluence of the Flöha and Zschopau.

Really fantastic view of the Zschopau valley and a nice resting place for a break.
