ロレーヌ地方のサールゲミュンデンからシュタウデルンハイムまでの景色の良いサイクリングロード（Glan-Blies-Weg、約130km）。ほとんど坂道はなく、ほぼ完全に舗装されていますが、ホムブルク＝ブルッフホーフとグラン＝ミュンヒヴァイラーの間のみ細かい砂利道です。

Glan-Münchweiler station was opened on September 22, 1868, as a through station on the Landstuhl–Kusel railway line. The station has two tracks and barrier-free access. There is a bus connection and park-and-ride facilities. At its opening, the station received a two-and-a-half-story station building, stylistically similar to those of other Palatinate railway stations built in the 1860s and 1870s. Reflecting the importance of the railway station, the gable-fronted building was relatively large. It has two and a half stories, which were originally equipped with living quarters and administrative offices. 🌳 It is considered the oldest oak tree in the Kusel district – the legendary "Mühleiche" (Mill Oak) near Börsborn. With a trunk circumference of over 6.60 meters, it towers over generations of hikers. Once a landmark, today a natural monument. Its shape even adorns the municipality's coat of arms. 📍 Tip: 🌳 Read the plaque and sit on the bench next to it – this tree tells stories without saying a word.

⚽️ Halfway along the trail is this beautiful forest playground – nestled in nature and featuring swings, a seesaw, a wooden tower, and hiding places. Those traveling with children are sure to linger here for a while. Not only does it have a beautiful view, there is also a small hut where you can take a break or take shelter when it rains. There are some play equipment for children.
