A place of peace and quiet with a beautiful view of Olbendorf.

According to the inscription, the listed church, dedicated to St. George, was built here in Eisenhüttl in 1796. The war memorial and rest areas are also located nearby.

Parts of the castle wall and some outlines are visible. Unfortunately, that's all you can see of the castle itself, as it's privately owned (i.e., private property). However, events are regularly held on the castle grounds. The entrance ticket then essentially grants you the chance to see more of the castle.

A good opportunity to take a break. We used this one too.

Magnificent view to the north as far as the Geschriebenstein and Wechsel massifs. Great viewpoint.

In recent years, visiting this place has become a mixed bag. The food can be good, but it's not always guaranteed. The restaurant has changed hands frequently, and each owner tries something different. And that doesn't always work. But the good news is: coffee and a beachy vibe are always available in the summer.

A beautiful church, rebuilt after the World Wars as a peace project. The square around the church is also inviting for strolling and relaxing. We enjoyed our time here.

I've started a few tours from here already. It's a lovely spot. And you can almost always find a parking space.
