Great section of the route along the Dove Elbe

Good paths, enough benches to rest on and lots of great photo opportunities. Pleasant route for a walk! Don't forget your swimwear on sunny and warm days! Lots of space and there weren't many people around

Beautiful recreational area for hiking, walking, etc.

The GOOD is so close. A nature reserve that is characterized by its migratory, song and wandering birds. Willow marshes and many water zones. Always have binoculars with you. Kingfishers are more likely to be found on the Goseelbe.

I just wanted to get from HH HafenCity to Reinbek, a trail that goes through horrible industrial areas in Hamburg and Reinbek via Goggle Maps, and was surprised at how beautiful the Komoot trail was. Mostly green, water and nature reserve, few roads and only one really ugly spot.

The hiking trail is frequented by many pedestrians and free-roaming dogs - at least on weekends and public holidays. Cycling is possible, but you have to be very careful. Conflicts with dog owners not excluded. Still a very nice way.

Passed by here on our 100km tour around Hamburg... I was so surprised at what beautiful corners there are around Hamburg, although I lived here for a few years myself.
