The sleeve mountain is about 156 m above sea level. NHN next to the Gannaberg (approx. 155 m) the highest elevation of the Harburg mountains and the Lower Saxony district of Harburg. It is in the municipality of Rosengarten near Sieversen. The sleeve mountain rises between Sieversen in the east-southeast and the Emsen district of Langenrehm in the south-southwest; they are all in the municipality of Rosengarten. The district road 52 leads over its southern flank as a connection between Sieversen in the east and Eversen-Heide in the west. The Hülsenberg is part of an elongated push moraine that was left behind by the Fuhlsbüttler advance in the Quaternary and from the Kiekeberg (127.1 m) near Vahrendorf in the north-northeast to to the Nuppenberg (approx. 115 m) near Dibbersen in the south-southwest. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%C3%BClsenberg_(Harburger_Berge)

A short and easy climb and you're at the top. Apart from a crooked boundary stone, there is not much to see, as the surrounding trees prevent a wide view, but a nice stopover.

On my trip to Hamburg, I drove through the Harburg Mountains and was totally surprised: I got a real low mountain range feeling here and that only a few kilometers away from Hamburg. In any case, that in itself is much more spectacular than the Hülsenberg itself, even if it represents the highest elevation in the Harburg Mountains next to the Gannaberg (at least 155 meters).

From the "horse head", the highest hill, you have a great view of the valley. Benches invite you to have a picnic and a large wooded area frames the whole valley.

Super panoramic view. Was here once in the summer when I did the Heidschnuckenweg and again a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the horse's head was pretty full, which is why I only went around because of Corona.
