Not far from the scenic Wilhelmswarte and the Klesheimwarte is the Anninger-Schutzhaus, a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. The shelter not only offers culinary delights, but also a cozy garden where you can stop for a break. The warm atmosphere and the homemade specialties are particularly appreciated. A visit is worthwhile for anyone who wants to take a relaxing break after a hike on the Anninger.

The refuge is a popular stop for hikers, mountain bikers, cross-country skiers and tobogganists.

The Krauste Linde forest rest stop is located right next to the anniversary celebrations. The signposts to the "Krauste Linde" are impossible to miss. The menu features down-to-earth, home-made dishes - from horseradish to goulash, soups and pastries - and in winter there is mulled wine to warm you up with. There is no luxury, but on busy days (weekends!) there is a loud wanderlust in front of and in the hut. The Krauste Linde forest rest stop is child-friendly with children's meals and armchairs. You can also watch animals such as goats and chickens. There are rooms for all kinds of celebrations. The hall for events can accommodate up to 100 people and the extra parlor for around 30. The garden has space for another 100 people

The Pfaffstättner Kogel is a popular destination. At its summit are the Klesheimwarte and the Proksch Hütte, both owned by the local group of the Baden Mountain Association. The Klesheimwarte, an iron observation tower, was opened on July 12, 1914 during a heavy thunderstorm with downpours. The platform is at 550m above sea level and offers a wonderful panorama. It is named after the poet Anton Freiherr von Klesheim, who died in Baden in 1884. The shelter was completed in 1930 and is named after Rudolf Proksch, a distinguished official of the Baden Mountain Club. The Rudolf Proksch Hütte, located in the middle of the Vienna Woods, was reopened on May 28, 2017 after two years of general renovation. The Proksch hut can be reached from the Beethoven long-distance hiking trail in around half an hour and is looked after by the tenants Sigrid and Peter Artner.

The Rudolf Proksch Hut is located directly on the Beethoven long-distance hiking trail between Gumpoldskirchen and Baden in beautiful Pfaffstätten. The huge playground located directly in front of the terrace every child's heart beats faster. From the 9m high observation tower, the Klesheimwarte, you have a perfect view of the surrounding area! Homemade delicacies and homemade pastries from the confectioner Sigrid Artner paired with the most beautiful view you can imagine – this is definitely worth a trip to the Rudolf Proksch Hut!

Inn with guest garden. The shelter has been renovated several times since it was founded in 1877 - some of the interior design dates from the 1970s.
