The Hochfilzer Hut is run by the Mannersdorf Nature Friends, is open on Sundays in the summer, and offers seating for approximately 50 people. There are a few very nice trails of varying difficulty (from grade 1 to grade 4 (to Korbaj)) leading to the hut, and the area is also very mountain bike-friendly. The construction of additional mountain bike trails is planned for 2025.

The overnight stay in the barrel was really great. Lovingly furnished with a small lamp, wine glasses, kettle and seating. Breakfast could have been ordered if desired. The toilets were very clean and there was even a shower. We will definitely come back.

Only open on Sundays and public holidays in summer.

This time the hut was open and we were able to stop for a snack. We were thrilled with the homemade pastries and enjoyed them ☕️🍰
