The cycle route along the Liesingbach is always a highlight.

This section of the route is often used on my big Liesing tour, it's quite nice, partly sandy and usually very busy on the Liesing Bach promenade. But you'll also find several cozy places to stop for a bite to eat, a playground and lots of benches, but the highlight is cooling off in the Liesing. And during strawberry season there's a stall in Kledering.

A café and restaurant dating back to the Imperial era, featuring classic furnishings, a shaded terrace, and its own patisserie. A very good place to stop for a break.

The Liesingbach cycle path is a beautiful cycle route that runs along the Liesingbach and leads through a picturesque area. The route from Oberlaa to Kledering is about 3.15 km long and has very little difference in altitude. You can also do a longer version of the route that goes all the way to Schwechat and then on to the Danube, which is about 29 km with a little more climbing and descending. Many cyclists recommend this route and describe it as a beautiful section with a sandy surface and lots of activity on the Liesingbach promenade. There are also several cozy places to refresh yourself, as well as playgrounds and plenty of benches along the way. The highlight, however, is the opportunity to cool off in the Liesing River. And during the strawberry season there is even a stall in Kledering. Have fun cycling! 🚲

This is a beautiful cycle route that leads along the Liesingbach through a scenic area. The route is about three kilometers long and has little difference in elevation. You can also take a longer version that goes to Schwechat and on to the Danube. Have fun cycling! 🚲
