The Gamsjoch summit with its summit cross is the goal of the tour for many - however, the main summit is the east summit, which can be reached further along the ridge by sure-footed mountaineers.

Unfortunately, we weren't lucky, and the summit was covered in clouds. The cross contains a summit log and a pen.

An incredibly beautiful view. But also a very difficult hike up. But it's worth it!

Great summit with a fantastic panoramic view. Climb from Gramai via the north side, challenging with climbing sections (surefootedness, a head for heights and mountaineering experience recommended), descent (or alternative ascent) via the normal route on the south side, steep and rocky, but easy to walk, not exposed. A stop at Gramai Hochleger is highly recommended!

Fantastic view of the rugged mountains of the Karwendel and Lake Achensee.

And if it were the last view, then the effort of the climb would have been worth it. So rugged and yet so beautiful. If anyone finds my glasses again on the way down over the Lalider Alm, please let me know. I would be really happy 🤗

For me one of the most beautiful Karwendel peaks with incredible views. On the way to the summit you always meet countless chamois, ibex and marmots. However, a lot of endurance is required to get to the summit. You should definitely be sure-footed and, in my opinion, have experience with "alpine terrain", as they always say. When you finally get to the top, you can expect a great Karwendel cinema. 🤗

The Alpengasthaus Falzturn is right next to the Sennhütte Falzturn.
