It's like a village of houses and huts thrown together by a giant at random... And that's exactly what makes it so charming. If you want to stay overnight here, the hut operators will almost always find a spot for you - even if you call. If you get there in time, you can also enjoy it as a romantic couple. The food is top-notch and always beautifully presented. And the operators are friendly.

The Olpererhütte at 2389 meters offers an excellent overnight accommodation for climbing higher peaks. There are sleeping spaces for 5 people each and you need to bring sleeping bags. The hut also offers beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and the reservoir, making it an ideal starting point for hikes and mountain tours. The restaurant is also recommended and offers a diverse selection at reasonable prices. After a strenuous day in the mountains, you can enjoy delicious meals here and experience the cosiness of the hut.

Very nice rest stop with excellent cuisine.

The ruins of Malga Sasso recall the period of South Tyrolean terrorism that blew it up, however the route did not create particular difficulties, except for the part that from a little beyond Malga Sasso, which can be seen over a meadow 100 meters away and those who want to visit it can do it beyond a gate and a track, which occasionally disappears and/or is lost among other tracks, the digital map is convenient and more than useful.
