The Schlegeis Reservoir is a gigantic structure, with the 131-meter-high dam wall being the most visible feature of the reservoir. From the parking lot, you have a beautiful view of the reservoir and its magnificent mountain scenery.

The Rifugio Passo di Vizze is located at 2,276 meters above sea level on the Italian-Austrian border, in the Ötztal Alps.
