From the Friesenberghaus, which is located at an altitude of 2,498 meters, you have an impressive view of the mountain panorama and the Friesenbergsee in the valley. The refuge with its massive stone walls is family-friendly and bears the "Families Welcome!" seal of the German Alpine Association. In the area around the hut there are many easy hiking trails that are very suitable for children.

The detached Friesenberghaus can be seen on a hill from a distance. Behind it the Little and the High Riffler. The Friesenberghaus can be used for rest and overnight. The dishes are excellent!

It is a lot quieter here than at the Olpererhütte. So for us a hut to take a well-deserved rest.
