From this panoramic spot, you can see the cliffs of Stevns, a UNESCO World Heritage site, at a distance. These white chalk cliffs are pretty famous all around Denmark and hold traces of an asteroid that hit the earth 65 million years ago.

Not far from the village of Strandlodshuse, which is mostly inhabited by tourists, this beach is perfect for relaxing. You can take a break from cycling here to fully enjoy Danish nature.

This stretch of cycle path is very scenic. There are dedicated bike lanes, and looking out towards the sea, you will notice a bay: it is a typically Danish blend of land and sky.

Præstø is a Danish town in the municipality of Vordingborg in the Zealand region with 3,939 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2025).[1] To the east lies the Præstø Næb peninsula. Præstø was first mentioned in documents in 1353 and was granted city rights in 1403. Before the 2007 municipal reform, Præstø was the seat of the municipality of the same name in the Storstrøm administrative district in the south of the island of Zealand. The municipality covered an area of approximately 107 km² and had 7,608 inhabitants (2005).
