Not far from the village of Strandlodshuse, which is mostly inhabited by tourists, this beach is perfect for relaxing. You can take a break from cycling here to fully enjoy Danish nature.

This stretch of cycle path is very scenic. There are dedicated bike lanes, and looking out towards the sea, you will notice a bay: it is a typically Danish blend of land and sky.

Blåbæk Mills consists of a watermill and a windmill. Both were listed as historical monuments in 1959. The mill is owned by Rosendal Gods but is still in operation today. However, they have not been used since 1939. The mill complex is located on Faxe å, south of Faxe. The first historical mention is from 1472, but some parts date back to the 1660s. Until the early 20th century the mill was a permanent mill for nearby Rosendal Gods. We speak first of one, later of two mills, hence the name Blåbæk Møller. From the upper edge of the lime quarry you have a very good view of the extent of the mining area. After a hard tour through the forest, you can still spend the day on the beach here. Nice, albeit short, beach with white sand. A toilet is in the parking lot.
