The Spiegelsee is located in the Schladming-Dachstein region. From the Reiteralm you can take a leisurely hike to the lake and enjoy the wonderful view of the Dachstein massif reflected in the water. My tip: take a break here.

A steep climb, but worthwhile.

A really nice bike path. Just don't drive on the west side, it's very dangerous. Whether you have to go to Hallstatt is up to you. One look is enough for us.

Beautiful little place right on Lake Hallstatt... Strongly linked to the salt mining in the region... unfortunately very crowded, in the evening it gets better when only the overnight guests are there

Hallstatt is a cute little place right on the lake... absolutely worthwhile, but often overrun by tourists... better in the evening hours when only the night guests are present

If ever there was a postcard-perfect town, it’s Austria’s Hallstatt. Pastel-coloured houses overlook a shimmering lake framed by soaring, green mountains that create an impossibly pretty scene. Winter in Hallstatt is so visually spectacular that it’s often compared to the fictional Arendelle in the movie, Frozen but it isn’t true... 😂😂

A great bike path. Nice to drive.

And use the further course of the route... nice huts invite you to explore and linger.
