Beautiful path with numerous steps through the forest.

This is the Heidengraben Tower, climbable (102 steps) with a visitor platform at an 18-meter height. Its triangular shape is reminiscent of the Celtic triskelion. From the platform, you can overlook the area where the Celts once settled.

A small path leads to this unguarded viewpoint on the rock. From here, there is a beautiful view of Hohenneuffen Castle. The path should only be used in dry weather, as it crosses bare rock in places, which can be slippery.

You have a view of the surrounding area. But you shouldn't expect too much. There are a few benches at the foot of the tower. The Astro Trail leads past the tower. The Heidengrabenturm hiking car park is subject to a fee.

The new tower offers a great panoramic view. The former hiking car park is now officially the car park of the Heidengrabenzentrum, a Celtic museum. Unfortunately, the day ticket for parking now costs €5. If you just want to climb the tower quickly, you should wait until 4 p.m. Parking is then free for the rest of the day. Otherwise, there are other free parking spaces in the area.
