The Astbergsee is idyllically located on the Goinger Astberg. Here you have a wonderful view of the popular photo motif of the Wilder Kaiser, which is reflected in the lake. There you can unwind and gain new strength and energy through the peace and fresh mountain air. Whether you take a walk around the lake or just sit on a bench and listen to the sounds of nature, such as the chirping of birds. The Astbergsee is a perfect place for rest and relaxation. A very beautiful lake. Be careful on the lake circuit, the opposite side of the inn, has stairs/ledges/stone passages (not suitable for strollers) Especially not for wheelchair users.

The circular route on the southern shore of the Hintersteiner See is approx. 2 km long and runs along a path that is partly secured with railings, mostly at the edge of the forest. The turquoise blue water and the view of the massif of the Kaisergebirge (including Scheffauer 2111m) form an impressive alpine backdrop. NOTE: The path repeatedly has significant inclines, appropriate footwear is recommended.

The Hartkaiser (1550) is framed here by Ellmiś magic world. Atmospheric embedded in the alpine landscape of the Hartkaiser, adults and families discover the myth of the Tyrolean mountains. Numerous imaginatively designed hands-on stations made of wood tell of life in harmony with nature.

Again and again beautiful views of the lake. On the side with the road there are also many barriers and prohibition signs.

The unique Kaiserkino at Astbergsee in Going has been open since the beginning of summer. True to the motto “I make my cinema world the way I like it”, all visitors to the Astberg have the opportunity to visit the Kaiserkino. With perfectly positioned wooden loungers, aligned with the beautiful mountain backdrop of the Wilder Kaiser, the cinema not only serves as an oasis of calm, but also as a place of inspiration for your own Kaiser films. It offers the perfect opportunity to unwind and recharge your batteries with a gigantic panoramic view, strength and sun. The Kaiserkino can be reached both on foot and with the Astbergbahn.

On the south bank the path climbs a little and offers wonderful views of the turquoise blue water of the crystal clear mountain lake. The north shore of the lake is accessible to everyone thanks to a driveway.
