The Oortlöödiek runs straight for almost 3 km toward Nordhorn Range, the Bundeswehr training area. The gravel road "Giesemaate" connects it to the Boerschupper Diek.

The Vechtewehr can be crossed, so that in addition to the Tillenberge nature reserve, Brandlecht can also be easily integrated into a tour

Bridge over the Vechte with a great place to sit. Unfortunately, the path there is not always easy to drive on.

The "Dobben Spieker" is the characteristic grave building in Engden. The historic half-timbered granary was built around 1800. It is the largest half-timbered granary still in existence in the county of Bentheim and served for decades as a grain store and also as a schnapps distillery. It was extensively restored around 25 years ago and has been used as a local history museum since its completion in 1999.

The 96 hectare nature reserve is located southeast of Nordhorn near Brandlecht in the lowland area of the Vechte and the adjacent Tillenberge. It is interspersed with flat inland dunes and partially damp, slightly boggy depressions. Small heath areas with juniper and spruce heath and sparse stands of birch and oak forests characterize this magnificent landscape. In the lowland area of the Vechte there are small hardwood alluvial forests on oxbows, some of which are still connected to the river. It is a popular local recreation and hiking area. On very well-maintained hiking trails you can explore this beautiful landscape nature reserve up to the course of the Vechte river with the Brandlecht Vechte weir.
