Cycling on the former railway line through the hilly landscape is possible without much effort and therefore also suitable for families. Tunnels, bridges and viaducts still shape the landscape today and make cycling a special experience.

There is evening sun with a wide view over the water to the west on the VORSPERRE of the Great Dhünn in the middle of the lake.

Wonderful route with a steady rise to Bergisch Born. It didn't really deserve the addition of a panorama terrace because there are only trees or mountains to the left and right, but that's actually nice enough. It's very quiet on the track except for the sounds of nature, of course. The direct connection to the Wippertalbahn is also nice, even if there are often bicycle lanes and checks.

It is also very nice to drive with children

The perfect starting point if you are using public transport would be the Lennep train station because the route starts right next door.

It is a very nice path along the Eifgenbach. From the direction of Altenberger Märchenwald and Dom. For this path, however, sturdy shoes are very advantageous, as in rainy weather there are some slippery / muddy spots to pass that lead very close to the stream (sometimes less than a meter)

Beautifully located path along the Eifgen Bach! Very crowded on nice days, on rainy days it could be muddy and on the rocky surface it could be slippery! Still very nice 👍
