A very beautiful ruin of a medieval castle with a Hunger Tower, admission is free. There are many things to see and enjoy in this ruin and the atmosphere. Fun fact: A fake skeleton was placed on the floor of the Hunger Tower. The small park between the outer and inner castle walls invites you to linger. Within the ruins, there are several benches for a small picnic. You can enjoy a beautiful view of Elsterberg. - Unfortunately, parking is difficult in the village. With a bit of luck, you can find a space with a parking disc (2 hours) in the small parking lot near the church.

Perfect for a short visit. All in all, we spent about 45 minutes at the facility. Everything is freely accessible, at no extra cost. The facility is very well maintained and relatively easy to navigate. There's also a small playground nearby.
