History and stories surround the town of Ramsdorf, which was a much-contested base for the Prince-Bishopric of Münster in medieval feuds: the old castle with its origins in 1425 still bears witness to this today. In the heart of the Ramsdorf town center, the castle is now a popular attraction. The historic rooms invite you to take an interesting excursion into local history, as the Ramsdorf Castle Museum is also located here. We recommend the exhibition in the cellar vaults with information about the nearby barrows. The historic castle hall now serves primarily cultural purposes and offers couples a beautiful setting for a civil wedding.

Every year the Land Partie takes place on the grounds of Lembeck Castle. At five, the castle immerses itself in a world of garden, living and fashion. The castle complex does not open again until Easter. Admission €4.50 for adults. Children from 3 years €3.
