The "Gilboa Temple" on the Hünerberg in the middle of the forest is intended to be a "visible sign of the partnership" between the Hochtaunus and the Israeli district of Gilboa. By Jürgen Streicher The view is clear of Kronberg and its castle. It can continue towards Frankfurt and the airport and to the southeast. There, 2950 kilometers away, as a compass rose shows, lies the Israeli district of Gilboa on the border with the West Bank.
