Very nice and quiet hotel

A piece of history well preserved.

Delicious ice cream and coffee as well as play opportunities for children of all ages.

Disastrous bridge – Thanks to the push assistance, I was able to get my bike up easily, but going down was no fun for me alone with the heavy e-bike and thick tires. Luckily, I had just started and still had strength in my arms. It was very steep, the tires (Johnny Watts) barely fit into the rail... The front wheel popped out of the rail on the way down, and I almost fell down the stairs with my bike. Something like that on an official bike path, with the intersection right next to it... I wasn't expecting that.

Great place for a rest and more.

It's beautifully laid out and a nice photo opportunity, but crossing the bridge requires two people, as it's quite steep. People with e-bikes, in particular, should not attempt to push the bikes up or down alone.

The "favorite spot" here is a beautiful location. We spent a long weekend in one of the buildings of the floating lake hotel and can only say the best about the hotel, the outdoor area, the restaurant, and the staff. A real insider tip for us "out-of-towners."

The wind-driven mill features a cross-shaped wing with louvre-type wings. Key technical equipment, such as drive shafts and the grinding and grist mill, originates from the Rödgen Paltrock Mill, which was demolished in 1991. The mill also features a roller mill, a grist mill, a sifter, a cleaning system with a hulling machine, an aspirator, and a sorter, as well as auxiliary equipment such as a hoist, transmissions, and elevators.
