The castle park was purchased by the municipality and laid out in its current form between 1982 and 1988.

The hill sofa is located near the reservoir and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. The bench is rotatable so you can enjoy nature from different angles. Ideal for relaxing, swinging and just letting your mind wander.

There are several places to sit and relax and enjoy nature. There is also a locked gate here, as there is no direct access to the Ehmetsklinge reservoir from here.

In the heart of Gemmingen, between the castle courtyard and Wiesenstrasse, is the old stately castle park, which was acquired and renovated by the municipality of Gemmingen in the 1980s. The idea behind it was English gardening. The center of the site today is the castle park pond, which is fed by its own spring, the Murrbach, and mainly by an old pipe from the Losterbach spring. Adjacent to the northern bank is an octagonal wooden pavilion. There are various events, concerts, children's performances and also an open-air cinema. Every two years, the park festival takes place across the entire area, organized by Gemmingen and Stebbach clubs. Not far from the pavilion, on the edge of the path, you will come across a bronze group, the Gänseliesel. It was donated by a Gemmingen citizen. A small forest lake in the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park with beautiful rest areas by the lake. Forest trail and bird trail on and around the lake.

A beautiful lake that is easy to walk around and can also be reached via the nature trail. Early in the morning it was quiet and atmospherically very nice.

Quiet place with a view of the lake, forest and ... relaxation for the eyes too

Very nice park with a lake and benches and a pavilion. The bike path leads right through it.
