The renovation work will last until 2025. Very impressive, a must for all travelers. St. Stephan’s Cathedral in Passau towers majestically above the picturesque city on the Danube. Its towers rise proudly, the history of past centuries engraved on every stone. A masterpiece of Gothic architecture that enchants visitors with its sublime beauty.

Beautiful, interesting suspension bridge 110 years old. Beautiful view of the Veste Oberhaus and Veste Niederhaus, of the Danube, of the triangle.

The world's largest playable cathedral organ is currently being restored and cannot be visited. The cathedral's interior is largely covered in scaffolding. The renovation is scheduled to be completed by 2026. The altar and the front part of the nave are open to the public. Perhaps also interesting is that there is "still" no admission charge to visit the cathedral.
