Müssenberg Summit (427 m) The Müssenberg is Müschede's local mountain and one of the most popular hiking destinations in the Arnsberg Forest. The ascent follows well-maintained paths that become noticeably steeper in the last third – a short rest on the benches before the final climb is well worth it. At the top, the summit cross awaits you with a panoramic view over Arnsberg, the Sorpe Reservoir dam, and, on a clear day, as far as the Haarstrang ridge. From the 427.5 meter high Müssenberg you have a great view of Niedereimer, the Arnsberg Forest Nature Park and the Rothaar Mountains.
