Sensational view of the Ohm Mountains and the Eichsfeld. You can't get to the top with a racing bike, but you can only climb it on foot or by mountain bike (approx. 1 km) over a rough gravel path. Still highly recommended!

I think these rescue points are incredibly important! They are registered in the control centers of the rescue services and serve as approach points for the rescue vehicles 🚑 🚒. So if something happens to someone in the forest or the surrounding area and there is such a rescue point nearby, it is guaranteed that the rescue service knows where to go and that they will manage to get there. This means that help is guaranteed quickly!

Very nice road bike section. Road absolutely fine and level, like a river. Otherwise you have very little traffic here. But now the B27 is still closed in Gieboldehausen, and you have the section almost to yourself!
