The Lavaredo Hut is located at an altitude of approximately 2,344 meters at the foot of the Three Peaks. It is a popular stopover on the classic circular trail around the peaks and can be reached from the Auronzo Hut in less than half an hour on foot. The terrace offers a striking panorama of the north faces of the Three Peaks and the surrounding Dolomite peaks.

Very nice stop for food and drinks. Would highly recommend to have a soup.

In April, a lot of snow is still expected in some places.

Rifugio Scoiattoli, at 2,255 m, is located in the Ampezzo Dolomites, in a panoramic position on the Cinque Torri. It can be reached by chairlift or on foot, and offers typical local cuisine and overnight accommodation. Perfect for a quick espresso, but eating out...too crowded and too expensive. The main attraction is 500m away anyway: the towers.

Beautiful refuge in the Cinque Torri area. From here you can start various tours, best planned on the large maps outside the hut.

Thanks to its strategic position, the Auronzo refuge offers easy access to one of the most famous excursions in the area. In addition to being a convenient stopping point, the refuge has hospitable services and a kitchen that serves tasty local dishes, perfect after a day of trekking.

Standard starting point for climbing tours to the Three Peaks, but also a tourist magnet. The food is ok, nothing more or less. On quieter days the staff is really friendly, otherwise it gets lost in the rush of tourists. Nothing as a goal in itself, but useful for the cake when you're there.
