Rifugio Lagazuoi is located on the summit of Mount Lagazuoi, above the Falzarego Pass, between Cortina d'Ampezzo and Val Badia. Situated at an altitude of 2752 meters, it is the highest refuge in Ampezzo. It boasts a magnificent panoramic terrace overlooking a true ocean of peaks, from the Cunturìnes to the Cime di Fànes, the mighty Tofane, the Odle, and the shining Marmolada.

Taking the cable car to the top of Lagazui is a real experience. It goes almost vertically up the rock face and you can sometimes see the tunnels that the soldiers had dug into the rock during the mountain war. At the summit you have a fantastic view in all directions.
