The Catholic Youth Center is also a popular rest stop for hikers. It's self-service, but the prices are reasonable. There are also several rooms available for rent for events.

The large information panel in front of the castle marks the start of the historical trail. The first image is a reconstruction of the castle as it was built in 1482. A moat with a drawbridge and a surrounding wall (still standing today) with corner towers enclosed the inner courtyard with its buildings and a residential tower.

A comfortable bench at the back invites you to linger and rest. You'll have a beautiful view, meet people walking by in good weather, and dangle your legs because the bench is a bit higher 😊 We enjoyed it.
