Excellent, well-equipped refuge with food and drinks available. Excellent selection of alcoholic beverages and fast service. The Radler is truly excellent! I could have drunk three! The platter is truly rich and plentiful with truly delicious products, especially the cheeses!

Excursion suitable for everyone. You can leave your car in the paid car park at the foot of the second dam (point the navigator towards Alpe Gera). From there, go up the dam via the dirt road that starts from the meadow. The route suggested here is the so-called "clockwise tour", which passes on the left side of the lake. The climb is rather soft and does not present any particular critical issues. The refuge is large and well equipped, you can use it as a base to climb to the Fellaria glacier, which is wonderful. The refuge is open from the beginning of June to the end of October. The Carlo Medici ai Cassinelli refuge is located at 1568 m above sea level. in front of the southern face of the Presolana massif.
