The view upstream is particularly charming in the early morning. This spot is an excellent starting point for explorations. Wonderful hikes are possible from here. A walk through the grove is highly recommended. A trip to Altenburg Castle is also easily possible from here.

When the weather's nice, crowds flock to the Buger Spitze, which divides the Regnitz into its left and right branches. And rightly so, as it's a great place to linger, take a pedal boat ride, or simply stroll through the Luisenhain.
