The church is not particularly old, but its historicist architectural style makes it beautiful nonetheless. The perfect symmetry of the central building, which is striking even from the outside, is fascinating.

A small white wooden bridge over a narrow stream, exposed to the tides. The bridge connects the salt marshes with the coastal path and cycle path. With its elegant arch and white railing, it immediately catches the eye – and is very well maintained. It's worth a hop off!

unexpected architecture

A fantastic view. You can drive almost right up to it or park at the Møllehuset and walk up.

With its palm trees, this is a very unusual beach for Denmark. It's really beautifully designed, though, with a very gentle slope, making it easy to wade far into the water. It's perfect for families with small children. The beach is also lifeguarded. Behind the dunes, there are beach volleyball courts, a beach house for snacks and ice cream, and a wonderful forest playground. A row of dunes further on, you'll find a contrast from a darker era: the remains of an anti-aircraft emplacement, which can also be visited.

A fantastic, modern skywalk with spectacular views. The wooden seating structures are meant to evoke the Ice Age terminal moray eels. A little further away is the Norwegian granite King's Stone, which was brought here during the Ice Age and on which three royal Frederiks left their signatures. You can also sit on the stone.

A truly imposing building from the 17th century.
