At the edge of the forest in Reipoltskirchen stands the war memorial, dedicated to the fallen of both World Wars. The stone monument, with its cross and inscriptions, commemorates the victims and also serves as a call for peace. It blends quietly into the natural surroundings, surrounded by tall trees and dense greenery. For hikers, it is a moment of contemplation and reflection, shaping the tour not only scenically but also historically. There are a few unsafe spots on the descent to Rockenhausen (the road is often contaminated with damaged surfaces). Therefore, do not let the bike roll uncontrollably.
