View of Weesenstein Castle. Information: First documented in 1318 as "Weysinberg, dem huse," this medieval fortification stands on a rocky outcrop of nodular mica schist with quartzite inclusions, overlooking the Müglitz Valley.

With a trained eye, you can see kingfishers, dippers and goosanders on this stretch of road all year round.

St. Mary's Church, Dohna. Information: A three-aisled, late Gothic hall church dating from 1489, located at the highest point in the village. It is of local and architectural historical significance.

To see the small Pfaffenteich pond in a hollow in the Röhrsdorf valley, you really have to stumble upon it by chance on the hiking trail, as there is no signpost. It is also rather small and unspectacular.

Although it rained quite a lot this year, I found the Pfitzteich pond almost completely dried up. It would certainly be an even more beautiful spot in the woods with a water level.
