Exciting path across the nature reserve

The path is very overgrown and uneven. It gets very narrow when pedestrians are coming towards you. It's best to ride around the outside on a racing bike.

Just a few meters from the Cologne Worringen S-Bahn station stands the first photo opportunity: The Cologne Trail guidebook provides the explanation for this unusual brick building: the "Intze Tower" was planned at the beginning of the last century as the base for a water tower for a waterworks, which was never completed. Today it is a listed residential building. From here it's not far to what is perhaps the most beautiful nature reserve within Cologne's city limits, the Worringer Bruch. 👍

A beautiful, narrow nature trail with jungle charm. Because of the wetlands, the number of mosquitoes and horseflies is very high, depending on the time of year.
