At the end of the Second World War, the inner staircase burned down. It was renewed in 1964 with a 60-step staircase. Understandably, the tower is not always open for security reasons. But for the annual Buchberg Festival, those who are interested can climb the tower and enjoy the magnificent view of the tower to the west.
