The tram depot at Ulmer Strasse 176 in the Augsburg district of Kriegshaber was put into operation in 1911. In 1910, the municipality of Kriegshaber provided the building site free of charge to support the extension of the tram line. The four-aisled hall with wooden supports, open roof truss and a neo-baroque gable wall with oval windows and Augsburg architectural motifs served as a carriage hall until 1976. The depot was renovated in 1988.  After it was closed in 1976, the depot was no longer used for regular tram operations. Until line 2 was extended to the Augsburg West park-and-ride area, the access to the depot served as a turning loop for the tram.  Today, the historic building still stands on Ulmer Strasse and is a reminder of the history of Augsburg's local transport.

The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Peter and Paul is located in the Augsburg district of Oberhausen and is one of the oldest churches in the city. Its origins date back to the 12th century, although the substructure of the tower dates from this period. Parts of the choir date from the 14th and 15th centuries.  Over the centuries, the church has undergone several reconstructions and extensions. In 1619, Augsburg city architect Elias Holl redesigned the upper floors of the tower, inspired by the towers of Augsburg's town hall. After severe damage in the Second World War, the church was rebuilt in a simplified form in 1948. A comprehensive renovation took place in 1985.  Today, St. Peter and Paul is characterized by a modern church space with a coffered ceiling and colorful church windows. In addition, two Augsburg bishops, Rudolf Schmid and Rudolf Stimpfle, have worked as chaplains in this parish.
