The large meadow with a playground and a few benches is certainly the most pleasant place to spend time at the Oberpfuhl and in the Lychen town area. Boats can dock, and you could even go on a boat tour yourself, but unfortunately, there's no suitable swimming spot. No water treading either. - Still. It's absolutely idyllic here, not least because of the beautiful tall trees and the peninsula-like shape of the area.

The Himmelpfort Christmas House offers a Christmas-themed parlor, which is part of an idyllically located café between the monastery ruins, brewery, and herb garden.

A very impressive sculpture. It can also serve as a sign for the shortest access to the great bathing area at Moderfitzsee (approx. 200m). The Sidowsee opposite can be completely circumnavigated on a beautiful path very close to the shore!

This bike tour was beautiful. We often rode very close to the water. The paths were almost always good to very good (exceptions: a) the stretch from Fürstenberg along the former Ravensbrück concentration camp and b) parts of the stretch from Kleinmutz to Kraatz with lots of potholes). The landscape is very varied and simply wonderfully relaxing.

Known through the Santa Claus office. But I found these houses directly on my route very special.
