Despite the concrete slabs, the route is quite pleasant to ride. It's located behind the dike, so there's no view of the Elbe.

Nice to ride, often on large flats, which works well with my touring bike up to 30/35 km/h. Down the Elbe there is often a headwind, which feels stronger than on land. But the way back is really fun.

Here you can get from Büchen village to Büchen over the canal bridge. The cycle and footpath are not affected by the traffic lights. And you have a wonderful view of the Elbe Lübeck Canal.
