A pretty church on the outskirts of Krummesse... Worth a visit for church enthusiasts.

Beautiful church directly above the Elbe-Lübeck Canal... you can't miss it if you cross the canal on the bridge right in front of it.

Direct access to the lake... Swimming is permitted here under supervision.

Beautiful view over the idyllic lake

Unfortunately, I found the large church closed (on weekdays). However, there's a lovely bench in front of the church, and the old gravestones and crosses around the church are worth exploring.

The church is located in the middle of the cemetery, barely visible from the streets, and can be visited. The church tower provides access to the nave itself. The carving of the pulpit is particularly beautiful. The compact church building with central columns has an unusual layout, including an organ and pews.

The observation deck at Lübeck Airport is completely free and accessible via a separate entrance. There's even a seating area. From the top row, you can also get a good view over the high security fence.

I wouldn't call it "easy to ride" in 2024. Here, pedestrians and cyclists share a narrow path in both directions that is riddled with tree roots.
