Graffiti – completely legal and colorful – brings more color to Plön's market square. The "Great Plön Lake Tour" is a boat trip on the Great Plön Lake that passes by almost all the towns and villages on the lake, offering a complete round trip of approximately two hours. The tour usually starts in Fegetasche in Plön and passes by Prinzeninsel (Prince's Island), as well as the towns of Ascheberg and Dersau. It is one of the most popular excursions in the Holstein Switzerland region and is operated with the MS "Holsteinische Schweiz".
