Definitely worth a visit.

Once again, I have no idea what to write. The weather gods were too kind with the temperature, so I walked up a steep path through the shady forest to the Tennenblick Inn. There, I was rewarded with a delicious goulash. I also visited the beautiful ski museum in Werfenweng and was given a private tour by the museum director because I donated about 15 rare ski lesson plans from 1892 to 1925. Hans decided on the type of tour; depending on your preferences, you're sure to find something to look at. Go in, it's worth it; describing the individual areas by season would go beyond the scope of this article. I ate a fantastic trout at Pizzeria Chilly.

Hohenwerfen Castle is accessible via a modern funicular directly from the visitor parking lot. The inclined elevator covers a length of approximately 185 meters and a height difference of approximately 114 meters at a gradient of 38 degrees. Each ride can carry up to 25 people, and its operation is fully automated. This makes the often arduous climb to the castle significantly easier, and the ride is included in the admission price.

For cyclists, the Lammerklamm Gorge is a worthwhile stopover on a tour through the valley. Bikes can be safely parked in the designated parking areas in front of the entrance before exploring the gorge on foot. Visitors can experience the rushing waters, the narrow rock faces, and the alpine beauty of the gorge up close on the walkways and paths. After a short rest, the bike tour can be continued at a relaxed pace through the picturesque surroundings, with a visit to the gorge itself being a special natural highlight of the route.
