A scenically beautiful plateau with stunning views over Hald Sø – or Hald Lake, Denmark's second-deepest lake. The hills are partly wooded, partly covered with heathland, dotted with juniper bushes, isolated large trees, and, ever-present, that wonderful, characteristic scent.

The church was built around 1200 from granite blocks in the Romanesque style. The interior of the church is quite simple, but it is still worth taking a look inside. The church was restored in 2009.

The small village of Dollerup is located in a hilly terminal moraine landscape on Hald Sø, the third deepest lake in Denmark. Beautiful hiking trails lead through the hilly landscape, from which you can enjoy views of the village and the lake.
