Theklakapelle St. Lorenz- Griesは、Drachensteinの下、Klausbach沿いの森の中、標高約580メートルに位置しています。嵐に遭ったKlausenの番人が、聖テクラの絵と共にこの礼拝堂を建てました。

モントゼー湖畔のザンクト・ローレンツ・グリースにある1865年建立のコロマン礼拝堂は、聖母マリア礼拝堂です。

Small but beautiful peak

The Klausbach stream babbles romantically over the stony steps of the riverbed. It's worth taking a moment to pause.

Standing at the foot of the Drachenwand, an impressive limestone rock face rises before you, towering steeply into the sky. Reaching a height of over 1,100 meters, it dominates the western shore of Lake Mondsee. The Drachenwand is a popular destination for hikers and via ferrata climbers. The secured via ferrata is particularly well-known, offering breathtaking views of the lake and the Salzkammergut region.

Through the thick forest, you'll repeatedly enjoy fantastic views of Lake Mondsee. Incidentally, it's one of the warmest bathing lakes in the region. Surrounded by rolling hills and striking rock formations, it offers numerous recreational opportunities such as swimming, sailing, and hiking.

This forest chapel is located on the Klausbach stream near Plomberg St. Lorenz. It was built as a token of thanksgiving, as a hermitage keeper once saved himself by climbing a tree bearing an image of St. Thekla during a storm.

The Koloman Chapel was built in 1865 in St. Lorenz am Mondsee in the Salzkammergut.
