There is a cattle gate at the top of the trail. Bikers and hikers are allowed through, just make sure to close the gate behind you. From here you can ride down the Rinconada Trail or explore Mountain Lookout Road, Little Falls Spring, and the handful of other rideable forest roads that wind up into the hills.

Recommend a gravel bike with some knobbies and gearing for climbing. Mostly quiet roads but stay on right side.

Standing at 1,292 feet the summit of Cerro San Luis offers panoramic views of Bishop Peak and the rest of the SLO area. One of the Nine Sisters of volcanic peaks that run between Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo.

Hazard Peak stands at 1,076 feet, making it one of the highest peaks in the area. Don't be misled by the name; it was named after Alexander Hazard, the previous landowner, and not because of any hazardous conditions. The views of the ocean and dunes from here are truly spectacular.
