Shenandoah Mountain is a long ridge of 73 miles in Virginia. This is specific point in the mountain range has expansive views of the valleys covered by forest, like a mountain sea of green. From Meadow Knob to Shenandoah Mountain you can find different view points, some of which are accessible by vehicle, such as Flagpole Knob.

The Oak Knob Cliff Trail leads you to the top of the cliff surrounded by forest in Hone Quarry Reservoir. From the trail it is possible to see Hone Quarry Lake and the surrounding Hone Quarry Valley. To reach the trail you have to walk for a mile on Hone Quarry Road; the trail is also used by mountain bikers, so pay attention while hiking uphill. Pond Knob is a rocky view point partially covered by trees; the knob is not so popular so you can find some solitude there.
