It's like being in another world. You can simply stroll through Williamsburg's historic old town without paying an entrance fee and meet costumed amateur actors who recreate the old days. It was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. You only have to pay an entrance fee if you want to enter the restored houses and get information about the property from the individual protagonists.
